In Cambridge International School, Phagwara. Kindergarterners, celebrated Baisakhi with full aplomb and enthusiasm on Thursday,13.4.2017 in the school auditorium. Children were explained about the importance of the festival by their teachers. Dhol beats and Punjabi folk music added to the excitement. Little hearts of Cambridge Kindergarten were looking gorgeous in colourful Punjabi traditional attires. The motive behind the celebration was to apprise the children of their rich culture and heritage. While speaking on the occasion, Principal of the school, said Baisakhi was not only a harvest festival but also an auspicious day as on this day Guru Gobind Singh had established the “Khalsa Panth”. All the Kiddoos participated whole heartedly in the celebration.
