On the eve of Independence Day, the school organized awareness program in association with the Border Security Force in the school premises.
Mr. Ashok Kumar, IPS, IG, BSF, Punjab Frontier was the chief guests and DIG Mr. HS Dhillon was the guest of honour of the day.
The officers of BSF put up a large display of the weapons and artillery being used by them during training and at borders which were shown to the students. The students were also shown a small documentary prepared on officers of BSF.
DIG Mr.H.S. Dhillon shared with students the rules and regulations followed in BSF. Mr. Ashok Kumar, IPS, IG, BSF Punjab Frontier shared his experiences with the students and motivated them to join BSF and serve the nation. He also told the students that for a soldier, love for nation is above all the other things in the world.
The workshop was followed by an interactive question answer session where the esteemed dignitaries answered the queries of the children.
Principal Mr. Jorawar Singh thanked the dignitaries and encouraged the students to develop their love for nation and serve their country.
