At CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, PHAGWARA holistic development is always the priority. So keeping this in mind a workshop ECO-WISE was conducted on Thursday 18th August 2022 to educate students about recycle, reduce and reuse of single use plastic. A team –Phulkari from Jalandhar came to school and organized a workshop where students were educated on cutting the plastic wrappers of chips, biscuits etc. properly so that they are not going waste and how they can be collected and send to their organization which will further send the
collected material to a company to Pune so that it is properly reused and recycled into nags, purses, laptop cases etc. An oath was taken by the students to protect the mother Earth by saving it from this plastic.
Principal MR. JORAWAR SINGH appreciated the team (MS. AKRITI NARANG, MS. NAVNEET BAKSHI AND MS. SONA SARDANA) for their noble cause and motivated students to do their bit as each drop counts in the ocean. So in order to save earth we have get going. Chairperson of Bassi Educational Society MRS.JASBIR KAUR BASSI congratulated the team for their commendable work and encouraged the school staff and students to join hands for this cause.
