Independence Day Celebrations

Independence Day of any country is a moment of pride and glory. No matter how much we are busy with our lives but on this day every Indian remembers and pays tribute to those freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives just to give us a better future.

It was the morning of 14th August 2014, a very special day for Cambridge International School. It was the day for the Independence Day celebrations.

Air Marshall, PS Bhangu, was invited as the chief guest for the day.

This year the school celebrated the day in a different mode. The students marched on the occasion and celebrated the day. The march past was both exciting and cheerful.

Chetanya and Snehal of class XI commanded the parade. The House captains proudly held the school flag perfectly blending with the atmosphere of pride and delight.

The school’s band added enthusiasm to the celebrations. With every drumbeat the atmosphere intensified and the momentum picked up.

On this special occasion, a cultural programme was also prepared by the students. The school choir performed songs and the dancers performed dances that mesmerized all.

Air Marshall PS Bhangu appreciated the students efforts and also motivated them to work together to make India a better place to live.
