Maths Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm for classes 6 to 9 from Wednesday 24th July to 29th July 2019. A range of different activities that included Mathematics Quizzes for each Key Stage, Collage making and Origami activities for the students were organized.
Origami, the ancient art of paper folding was organized for class 6 which helped them to improve spatial visualization skills using hands-on learning.Collage making activity was organized for classes 7 and 8 showing correlation to Maths in daily life.
An Inter house Maths quiz was conducted for classes 6 to 9 by the Maths department and students.20 students participated from all the four houses. The quiz consisted on 5 rounds related to the topics they learn in their classes. Cedar House bagged the first position followed by Maple and Pine. The collaborative work and the enthusiasm made it another great successful Maths week.
