Show and Tell is a key part of the school day and an important part of child’s learning development, as it helps them to organise information and builds their confidence. It’s also a great way to really encourage student’s interest in a particular topic. This year, in Cambridge International School, A week long lesson plan was organized based on constructivism. Constructivism is a learning strategy where knowledge and skills, both are evolved. Students of Grade 2 explored different types of houses, its structure, basic material required and need of a house. They, then, identified, explored the environment and manipulated the material available around them to construct the model. They have been provided with opportunities to verbalize their conceptual understanding during SHOW AND TELL activity and elaborated their experience of making their dream house. It was incredible learning experience.
