Science department of the school organized a visit for students of 10 class and IGCSE to cold drink factory at Ludhiana. It was a very an informative visit as the students gained knowledge from the team of the factory about overview of syrup preparation. Students came to know about the equipments used for syrup preparation. They were also acquainted about the procedure required before dumping sugar, required amount of water and the temperature which should be maintained to prepare the cold drinks. Students learnt about the acidic strength of the cold drink related to their course. Students also learnt the safety measures used in preparing cold drink and how these processes go smoothly during the washing and bottling.
They also met the vice chairman of the factory. He advised the students to consume cold drinks in an appropriate manner and that they must check the manufacturing date before purchasing it.
