A workshop on Responsible citizenship was conducted by Mr. Pankaj Guatam, Charter President of JCI Phagwara elite in Cambridge International School Phagwara on 27th January, 2014 . The workshop was attended by teachers and students of class 9th. This workshop was organized to spread the culture of responsible citizenship, which is based on the balance between the rights and responsibilities. It aimed to engage the youth in responsible and effective citizenship. The workshop included interactive discussion on human values, civil and political rights. Students were also shown various motivational videos related to the topic. It also tackled various topics including young people’s role in reinforcing responsible citizenship. Principal Mr.Jorawar Singh also inspired the students to cultivate these ideals in their day to day life.
